Solutions Architect

Insight Enterprises is hiring a Solutions Architect to design and build production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systems. The role is a hands-on delivery consulting position, focused on building AI and agentic AI applications that use tools, call APIs, reason over enterprise data, and support mobile, web, and Power Platform experiences. You will work fully remotely from anywhere in Canada.

What you will do

• Design and implement agentic AI systems using Microsoft Foundry, including tool and function calling and multi-step, multi-agent workflows.
• Build and manage tools and connectors along the agentic chain, such as MCP-based tools, custom tool APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Develop RAG and data-centric AI capabilities using Azure AI/Cognitive Search and other data sources.
• Implement prompt strategies, guardrails, and evaluation loops to improve reliability, safety, and quality.

What they are looking for

• 6+ years of professional software development, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Advanced C#/.NET experience building production APIs and services.
• Advanced React and TypeScript front-end development experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure, including App Service or Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and monitoring.

Pay and location

The salary is CAD 115,000 to 150,000 per year, plus a variable bonus. The location is Canada, and you will have the flexibility to work fully remotely. The posting notes Toronto, Ontario, and the company also lists the role under IT Infrastructure & Support.
