Insight Enterprises is hiring an AI GTM Specialist for its Data & Analytics team, working with Google Cloud. The role is fully remote from anywhere in Arizona. You would work with Insight's sales account executives to find new Data and AI opportunities, design solutions, and explain Gemini and Vertex AI to C-suite stakeholders.
What you will do
- Partner with Insight sales teams to identify and qualify high-value Data and AI opportunities within their existing customer base.
- Lead discovery workshops to design end-to-end data strategies, focusing on BigQuery for data warehousing and Vertex AI for model orchestration, and how they integrate into Gemini Enterprise.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Gemini and large language models, helping customers move from AI-curious to AI-first through tailored proofs of concept.
- Develop and run a joint go-to-market plan with Insight field sales, including webinars, executive briefings, and industry-specific solution plays.
- Serve as the liaison between Insight's technical delivery teams and Google Cloud's internal product engineering teams to make sure customer requirements are met.
What they are looking for
- 10+ years of professional experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or digital transformation consulting.
- At least 5 years focused specifically on data engineering, analytics, or machine learning.
- A proven track record with Google Cloud Platform is highly preferred. AWS or Azure experience is a plus if you are willing to learn the Google stack right away.
- Exceptional presentation skills. You can explain the difference between a vector database and a standard table to a CEO without losing their attention.
- A B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, an MBA, or equivalent practical experience in the field.
The role also calls for a deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning models within Vertex AI. On the data side, that means modernizing legacy data stacks into BigQuery, including Looker integration and data governance. Insight wants someone who sells on ROI and business outcomes rather than listing features, and who understands how co-sell motions work with a global systems integrator.
What success looks like in year one
- Scaling the Insight-led Data and AI pipeline by 30% through proactive engagement.
- Closing at least 3 lighthouse GenAI projects using Gemini that can serve as case studies for the partnership.
- Becoming a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer, if you do not already hold that certification.
