About the Role

The Live Technical Support Representative will provide high-quality customer assistance through phone, chat, and email support. The role focuses on diagnosing technical issues, helping customers resolve problems related to domains and hosting services, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who enjoys helping customers, understands technical troubleshooting, and can deliver friendly and professional support in a fast-paced environment.

Typical Customer Questions

Support representatives often assist customers with issues such as:

• Connecting a domain to platforms like Shopify
 • Transferring a domain to Porkbun
 • Troubleshooting website or hosting issues
 • Purchasing WordPress hosting
 • Resolving payment issues
 • Configuring hosted email with services like Outlook

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical support experience (help desk or customer-facing roles)
• Experience with domains, DNS, and web hosting is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to deliver excellent support via phone, chat, and email
• Professional written communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Work Schedule

Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Standard shift: Thursday – Monday, 9 AM – 5 PM Pacific Time
Saturday and Sunday availability required
Tuesday and Wednesday off

Location Requirements

Applicants must be based in the United States, specifically in one of the following states:

• Arizona
 • California
 • Idaho
 • Oregon
 • Texas
 • Washington

Salary & Benefits

Starting salary: $40,000 per year
• Paid breaks during each shift
Medical, dental, and vision insurance (after 90 days)
Simple IRA retirement plan with 3% company match after one year
