HubSpot is hiring a Senior Account Executive for its Mid-Market UKI team. The role is for someone with a track record of closing new business in both inbound and outbound sales, ideally in tech or SaaS. You will work with small and mid-sized companies, running the full sales process from first contact to close.
This is a remote-friendly role. You can choose to work in-office, hybrid, or fully remote, as long as you are based in the United Kingdom.
What you will do
- Use outbound methods such as prospecting, cold calling, and networking to reach potential clients and build pipeline.
- Work inbound leads and partner with Business Development Representatives to research prospects and plan outreach.
- Give online demos of HubSpot software and explain the value proposition to buyers.
- Own the whole sales process, from initial contact through to closing and onboarding new clients.
- Focus mainly on small and mid-sized businesses, learning their needs and positioning HubSpot solutions around them.
- Keep sales activity and customer interactions up to date in the HubSpot CRM.
- Diagnose customer challenges quickly and tailor inbound marketing solutions to fit.
- Meet and aim to exceed sales targets through new business closures.
- Build relationships with qualified prospects and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Work with HubSpot's marketing and technology teams to adjust sales strategies as new products and features launch.
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of experience in full closing, 360 sales roles, ideally in tech or SaaS.
- A proven record in both inbound and outbound sales, with a focus on closing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with different kinds of clients.
- Comfort running virtual sales presentations and demonstrating software.
- Consultative selling and closing skills.
- Skills in accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- A record of high performance, such as exceeding quotas or reaching President's Club.
- Fluency in English.
- Self-motivation, good organisation, and attention to detail.
- Applicants must be located in the United Kingdom to qualify for remote work.
Experience in SaaS environments and an understanding of the small to mid-sized business market is a plus. Successful people in this role tend to have strong time management and adaptability for remote and hybrid work, and experience in fast-paced, high-growth scale-up settings.
Benefits
- Generous remuneration and stock units
- Interactive employee training and onboarding
- An education allowance up to £3,650 per annum
- Pension
- Health insurance
- Life assurance at four times your annual salary
- Company social outings, parties, and events
