All Other Remote Contract the United States

FamilyWell Health is hiring a licensed therapist to provide virtual mental health care to women across Connecticut. The role is part-time, 10 to 30 hours per week, and you would work as a 1099 contractor from wherever you are based. You would join a care team that serves pregnant, postpartum, and menopausal patients through OB/Gyn and family medicine practices.

What you will do

  • Provide individual tele-therapy to patients who request regular sessions, using FamilyWell's virtual platform.
  • Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred program patients and gather assessments that inform treatment planning.
  • Document patient progress and share treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals when needed.
  • Modify treatment plans for patients who need more intensive or specialized mental health care, so interventions happen on time.
  • Develop and deliver Care Plans after sessions, with actionable insights and follow-up steps for patients.

What they are looking for

  • A licensed mental health provider with an active Connecticut license. You must be able to practice independently, without supervision.
  • Qualifying licenses include LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, and LPC.
  • Formal perinatal, peri, or menopause mental health training, or at least one year of clinical experience with pregnant, postpartum, or peri/menopause patients. This is strongly preferred.
  • Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required. Certification in treating the peri/menopause population is also recommended but not required.
  • Comfort using tele-therapy platforms and delivering care virtually.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to work across different teams.
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and to improving women's mental health care, particularly for vulnerable patient populations.

Pay and hours

The position pays $80 per 60-minute session, which covers both intake and follow-up sessions. There is also a 2-hour allotment per month for administrative work. The schedule is part-time, between 10 and 30 hours per week, and the arrangement is 1099/contractor.

Location

The job is remote. You need an active Connecticut license to practice.
