We are seeking an experienced Blog Content Writer to lead our content creation efforts. In this role, you will develop long-form, SEO-optimized articles that educate and inspire readers while driving organic traffic and conversions. Your writing will play a vital role in destigmatizing psilocybin, supporting mental wellness, and growing our e-commerce platform.  

Key Responsibilities 

Content Creation 

• Write 2 to 4 in-depth articles per month (1,200–1,800 words) aligned with SEO goals and brand tone.
  
  
• Simplify complex research into engaging, trustworthy, and accessible content.
  
  
• Highlight therapeutic, cultural, and scientific aspects of psychedelics and microdosing.

Editorial Strategy
 

• Pitch ideas and maintain a three-month editorial calendar.
  
  
• Use SEO best practices (H-tag hierarchy, internal linking, image alt text) to boost rankings.
  
  
• Align blog content with product launches and marketing campaigns.

Collaboration and Repurposing
 

• Coordinate with the marketing team to adapt content for emails, social media, and landing pages.
  
  
• Work with experts including therapists, mycologists, and researchers to ensure factual accuracy and compliance.

Performance and Optimization
 

• Monitor content performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.
  
  
• Update headlines, CTAs, and keyword targeting based on analytics data to improve engagement.
  
  

 Required Skills and Qualifications
 

• 2–4 years of professional writing experience in wellness, science communication, or e-commerce.
  
  
• Demonstrated interest or experience in psychedelics, microdosing, or functional mushrooms (portfolio required).
  
  
• Strong grasp of on-page SEO and familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SurferSEO, or SEMrush.
  
  
• Experience working in CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify.
  
  
• Ability to write clearly, ethically, and in a tone that blends scientific credibility with approachability.
  
  
• Knowledge of Canada’s laws regarding controlled substances or willingness to learn.
  
  

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
 

• Experience interviewing health professionals or researchers.
  
  
• Familiarity with conversion-optimized copywriting techniques.
  
  
• Basic design skills for visuals or infographics using Canva or Figma.
