Enterprise Account Executive, Federal Civilian

Asana is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive for its federal civilian business. You would sell into civilian federal agencies and departments, land and expand business within your own book of accounts, and help shape Asana's federal civilian go-to-market strategy. The role is for an enterprise sales professional who has closed deals in the federal space and wants to build on that.

What you will do

• Work complex federal accounts, using data to improve existing deployments and find new use cases across civilian agencies.
• Anticipate procurement roadblocks and contracting objections, and build cases that show the value of Asana to everyone from program officers to agency leadership.
• Drive revenue through federal procurement vehicles such as GSA schedules, BPAs, and IDIQs.
• Work with SDRs, Field Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver for customers and show measurable business value.
• Act as a trusted advisor and build relationships across all levels, from C-suite agency executives to end users and program managers.

What they are looking for

• 4+ years selling directly into the Enterprise or Federal segment, with 8+ years of experience closing business.
• Experience closing deals and building strategic relationships within civilian federal agencies such as HHS, DHS, DOT, or Treasury. Familiarity with federal fiscal cycles and appropriations processes is a strong plus.
• A proven ability to work through federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, government contracting vehicles, and FAR/DFAR compliance considerations.
• A record of high quota attainment, particularly in Enterprise SaaS.
• Skill at finding hidden potential in established federal accounts to drive agency-wide expansion and adoption.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and use them to improve productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
• Excellence at building trust and long-term partnerships with diverse federal stakeholders, with a bias toward action.

Location and schedule

The role can be fully remote depending on which US state you live in, or based in any of Asana's US offices with an office-centric hybrid schedule. If you are based in an office, the standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most employees can work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams you partner with. Your recruiter will share more about in-office requirements during the interview process.

Pay

The On-Target Earnings range for this role is $290,000 to $330,000. Total OTE includes a base salary range of $145,000 to $165,000 plus performance-based sales incentive pay under the terms of the Sales Incentive Plan. Asana describes these ranges as a guideline; actual base salary and OTE may vary based on factors including market and individual qualifications assessed during interviews, and the ranges may be modified.
