Chief of Staff, Global Sales

Reddit is hiring a Chief of Staff to the EVP of Global Ad Sales, based in New York or London. The role is a strategic operator position across the Global Sales Organization: scaling executive attention, speeding up decisions, and turning the organization's top priorities into clear execution and follow-through. It suits someone with a decade or more in sales, revenue, or business strategy and operations inside an ad sales organization, who can build their own structure and work with little guidance.

What you will do

• Filter and route inquiries: set clear paths for routine data requests, incident reporting, and tactical items below the executive level so leadership time goes to major revenue initiatives.
• Act as executive proxy: represent the EVP in cross-functional leadership forums, planning reviews, and offsites, building consensus before issues need top-down intervention.
• Surface field signals: synthesize customer sentiment, competitive dynamics, and feedback from front-line sales teams for executive leadership.
• Pre-frame decisions: make sure revenue proposals and escalations reaching the EVP arrive with clear context and explicit recommendations.
• Orchestrate business cadence: run the global sales operational rhythm, including leadership reviews, quarterly business reviews, strategic offsites, and team communication forums, with priorities tracked and fire drills kept to a minimum.
• Partner with Sales Strategy & Operations: translate strategic outputs into operational workstreams, leadership narratives, and review frameworks.
• Prepare executive communications: strategic collateral, executive presentations, board materials, and organizational communications, in close coordination with Internal Comms.
• Track commercial initiatives: ensure each high-priority initiative has a defined owner, success metrics, and milestones, and that leaders leave reviews with clear action items and deadlines.
• Support cross-functional initiatives: drive alignment across GTM, Product, Marketing, and SS&O on complex, multi-functional sales work.

Location and pay

This role is required to be based in New York or London. The posting is hybrid. The base salary range is $210,800 to $295,200 USD. The posting may span more than one career level. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered may also be eligible for a commission. Final offer amounts depend on skills, depth of work experience, relevant licenses and credentials, and may vary from the range listed.
