Customer Enablement Manager at Asana — remote job on CafeRemote
All Other Remote

Asana is hiring a Customer Enablement Manager to work with complex enterprise customers on how work gets done across their organizations. You would own a portfolio of strategic customers and run enablement work that includes discovery, workflow consultation, change management, and scalable education. The role is a senior individual contributor position, and Asana describes it as West Coast based remote, open to employees in Pacific or Mountain Standard time.

What you will do

  • Lead discovery with complex stakeholders and turn customer challenges into recommendations for workflow, enablement, and adoption strategies.
  • Independently manage enterprise engagements within your portfolio, from discovery and planning through delivery, measurement, and follow-through.
  • Help customers adopt Asana and AI capabilities by translating them into practical, scalable use cases, and guide the people, process, and behavior change that comes with new ways of working.
  • Design and facilitate workflow consultations, strategic workshops, enablement programs, and executive-level conversations for audiences from end users and champions to senior leaders.
  • Use adoption, engagement, and efficacy data to assess whether enablement is driving behavior change and business outcomes, then adjust engagement strategies.
  • Identify risks, expansion opportunities, and new use cases, and work with account teams to connect adoption and enablement to retention, expansion, and long-term customer value.
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Services to understand customer priorities and diagnose barriers to adoption.
  • Help shape repeatable approaches that strengthen Asana's broader Customer Enablement practice.

What they are looking for

  • 6+ years of experience in customer enablement, customer success, strategic consulting, implementation, change management, professional services, or a related customer-facing role, ideally in SaaS.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex enterprise customer engagements that combine discovery, consultation, facilitation, and enablement.
  • Consultative skills: uncovering root causes, synthesizing complex information, constructively challenging assumptions, and turning ambiguity into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior and executive stakeholders, including navigating competing priorities and building alignment across stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead strategic conversations for audiences ranging from practitioners to executives.
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills, with a track record of managing multiple complex engagements without significant oversight.
  • Commercial acumen and an understanding of how adoption, customer value, retention, expansion, and organizational change connect.
  • Product and technical curiosity, with the ability to quickly learn new technology and translate AI and workflow capabilities into customer use cases.
  • A data-informed, outcomes-oriented approach, using customer signals and metrics to evaluate impact, identify risks, and adjust strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and improve programs, processes, playbooks, or customer strategy beyond your own accounts.
  • Comfort with a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, with strong judgment, prioritization, and ownership.
  • A collaborative teammate who mentors others, shares expertise, and helps raise the quality and consistency of the team's work.
