Account Executive, Corporate
Airtable · Remote - US · posted 2 days ago
Airtable is hiring a Corporate Account Executive to work with SMB and Mid-Market customers across a wide range of verticals and industries. The role is remote within the US. It is built for a seller with a few years of closing experience who wants to grow toward an Enterprise Account Executive position, with the coaching and increasing deal complexity that path requires.
Airtable makes a platform that combines a relational database, custom applications, automations, and AI, so teams can build the applications and workflows they need without being limited by off-the-shelf software. The company says more than 500,000 organizations use it, including 80% of the Fortune 100.
What you will do
- Turn Airtable's large self-service user base into new business, using existing adoption and proven use cases to uncover and develop high-potential opportunities.
- Build relationships with leaders across functions and industries, understanding what matters to them and finding ways to expand Airtable's impact as their organizations grow.
- Own and prioritize your book of business, develop account plans, and work from an initial champion out to stakeholders across the organization.
- Lead complex sales cycles from first conversation through close, bringing in Customer Success, Solution Engineering, and other partners at the right moments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects: understand their business objectives and show how the platform's flexibility solves their problems through concrete use cases.
What they are looking for
- 1-3 years of quota-carrying closing experience at a technology company.
- Experience closing deals with mid-market and larger organizations of 50-3,000 FTEs, with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to run a structured sales process (the listing gives Force Management as an example) with rigor and self-awareness: knowing where deals stand, what needs to happen next, and which stakeholders to bring in.
- Strong communication and relationship building. You build credibility with business leaders and executives and create alignment across stakeholders at each stage of the sales cycle.
- Comfort moving across industries, use cases, and buyer personas, and adapting your approach to each.
Pay and benefits
Compensation varies based on work location, relevant skills, and experience. The on-target earnings range for this role is $182,800 to $238,100 for all office and remote locations. The total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
