Role Summary 

Own the end-to-end blog content process—from ideation to publication—creating engaging, SEO-optimized articles that educate readers about psilocybin, microdosing, and related plant medicines while supporting e-commerce growth objectives.  

Key Responsibilities 

Content Development 

• Produce 2–4 in-depth articles per month (1,200–1,800 words) designed to rank for target keywords and support conversions.
  
  
• Translate peer-reviewed research and emerging wellness trends into clear, engaging content that balances scientific accuracy with readability.
  
  

Editorial Planning & SEO
 

• Propose topics, develop outlines, and manage a rolling three-month editorial calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and product releases.
  
  
• Apply on-page SEO best practices, including header structure, internal linking, schema markup, and image optimization.
  
  

Collaboration & Repurposing
 

• Partner with marketing to adapt blog content into email copy, social posts, and landing page content.
  
  
• Integrate feedback from subject-matter experts (e.g., mycologists, therapists) to strengthen credibility and compliance.
  
  

Performance & Optimization
 

• Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, and engagement metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console.
  
  
• Test and refine headlines, CTAs, and keyword placement to improve click-through rates and time on page.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications
 

• 2–4 years of professional writing experience (wellness, science, or e-commerce preferred).
  
  
• Proven familiarity with psychedelics, microdosing, or functional mushroom topics (published samples required).
  
  
• Working knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, etc.) and CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify.
