Remote Outbound Sales Representative

Baymard Institute operates a bespoke B2B SaaS platform delivering UX research findings to over 17,500 brands, agencies, researchers, and UX designers across 80+ countries. Our client list includes 71% of Fortune 500 e-commerce companies. We are a fully distributed team of around 50 members across America and Europe. 

We are seeking an Outbound Sales Representative to identify, connect with, and secure new business opportunities. In this individual contributor role, you will manage outbound prospecting and handle the full sales cycle as part of a small, high-performing go-to-market team.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Research and identify potential business opportunities in target markets.

  • Conduct outbound outreach to engage new prospects.

  • Manage leads through the complete sales cycle—from initial contact to closing deals.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align outbound messaging and campaigns.

  • Keep accurate records of activities and pipeline updates using our CRM.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.

Qualifications
 

  • Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, preferably with subscription-based products or services.

  • Proven track record of closing sales successfully.

  • Strong collaboration and feedback-sharing abilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable working remotely and effectively in a globally distributed team.

  • Bonus: Experience in startup/scaleup sales or selling to marketing, UX, product, or research teams.

Practical Details
 

  • Location: Remote, full-time (America or Europe). Note: US West Coast candidates must be available from 6 AM Pacific Time for daily overlap with European teams.

  • Salary: Fixed base plus commission.

  • Start Date: As soon as possible.

  • Language: Full proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Travel: Limited (1-3 weeks annually).
