Baymard is a remote-first company with a distributed team of around 60 professionals working across the US and Europe.

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Lead who will drive the strategic vision and daily operations of our product suite. This role requires both leadership and hands-on execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Research, Marketing, and company leadership to shape the evolution of Baymard’s tools and services.

This is a pivotal role at a key time in our journey as we expand from a content-based UX platform into more SaaS-driven solutions, including our website scanner and automation tools.

Responsibilities

Lead product strategy and planning

  • Define and update product roadmaps

  • Collaborate with the CEO on long-term direction and growth

Oversee day-to-day project execution

  • Manage 3 or more concurrent product initiatives

  • Set priorities, support designers and developers, and ensure timely delivery

Grow and mentor the product team

  • Provide leadership to the existing team of product managers and designers

  • Offer clear feedback and encourage growth and collaboration

Partner with Engineering

  • Work alongside the Engineering Lead to scope and deliver new features

  • Balance ambition with practical development limits

Coordinate with internal stakeholders

  • Understand and respond to product needs across Baymard’s departments

  • Help align features with business and user priorities

Adopt iterative development practices

  • Break projects into smaller phases

  • Guide the team through 2-week product cycles and quarterly planning

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 10 years of experience in product management, including team leadership

  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects from start to finish

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills

  • Organized and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Familiarity with working in small, nimble teams with limited resources

Preferred

  • Experience with AI integrations in product workflows

  • Background in engineering or technical project leadership

  • Hands-on design experience, including Figma proficiency

  • Copywriting experience for product content and messaging

Additional Information

  • Remote, full-time position (Europe only)

  • Must have overlapping working hours with US-based colleagues

  • Preferred start: as soon as possible (late 2025 or early 2026)

  • Travel is minimal (1–3 weeks per year, including team retreats)

  • English fluency required
