As a Senior UX Strategist, you’ll primarily lead strategy for complex, content-heavy websites and digital platforms. This is a consultative role focused on helping organizations align their digital presence with their mission and goals. You’ll operate at both strategic and execution levels—shaping structure and direction while guiding practical implementation.

Lead discovery and strategy

• Define problems, clarify goals, and articulate the rationale behind strategic decisions
  
  
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and research initiatives
  
  

Turn insights into action

• Translate research into actionable UX and content strategies
  
  
• Develop and guide high-quality UX artifacts (personas, journeys, IA, sitemaps, wireframes)
  
  

Guide cross-functional teams

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to align strategy with delivery
  
  
• Maintain alignment between strategy, design, and execution throughout projects
  
  

Advise and challenge clients

• Serve as a trusted strategic partner, offering thoughtful recommendations—even when it means challenging assumptions
  
  
• Communicate clearly with senior leaders and key stakeholders
  
  

Think holistically

• Consider UX, content, analytics, technology, marketing systems, and operational realities together
  
  
• Balance ideal user experiences with technical and organizational constraints
  
  

Support team growth

• Mentor fellow strategists and contribute to shared learning
  
  
• Help refine internal frameworks, processes, and standards
  
  

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

• Have strong experience in UX and digital strategy, preferably in an agency setting
  
  
• Have guided executive teams through digital transformation initiatives
  
  
• Have led 25+ complex web or digital projects from discovery to launch
  
  
• Are skilled in UX research, personas, user journeys, IA, usability testing, and iteration
  
  
• Understand how content strategy, SEO, analytics, and marketing intersect with UX
  
  
• Are comfortable with platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, GTM, and CMS ecosystems
  
  
• Can scope and guide technical implementation for web projects
  
  
• Make sound decisions in ambiguous situations
  
  
• Communicate clearly and empathetically across roles and seniority levels
  
  
• Can bridge strategic thinking with real-world execution
  
  

Bonus: Experience with professional or membership associations (extra points if you know what a CAE is).
