About the Role: Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) 

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong AWS experience to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to securing our cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. You will help design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments that anticipate and mitigate security threats.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and build resilient cloud infrastructure to safeguard against evolving threats.
  
  
• Evaluate and implement cloud security tools and practices to secure systems, networks, and databases.
  
  
• Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, risks, and incidents.
  
  
• Analyze logs, conduct vulnerability assessments, and produce detailed reports.
  
  
• Contribute to shaping cloud security policies and standards.
  
  
• Ensure business continuity through regular disaster recovery and failover tests.
  
  
• Enforce data protection policies across transmission, storage, and access.
  
  
• Respond to and investigate security violations or anomalies.
  
  
• Support end-users with network and security-related queries.

 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Security or related field.
  
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Information Security with a focus on Cloud Security.
  
  
• In-depth expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  
  
• Familiarity with services like IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and more.
  
  
• Understanding of cloud threats and proactive security strategies.
  
  
• Experience with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and container security is a plus.
  
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
