The Investor Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in delivering a seamless and premium investor experience throughout the capital commitment and investment process. This position manages the complete onboarding lifecycle—from initial commitment to final funding—ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate data management, and consistent communication with investors.

By providing a high-touch, “white-glove” service, the specialist helps strengthen investor relationships and supports continued reinvestment.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Onboarding & Compliance

  • Manage the full investor onboarding workflow from commitment through funding.

  • Coordinate KYC verification, investor accreditation, and Blue Sky compliance with third-party compliance providers to meet all regulatory requirements.

  • Process and monitor wire transfers and capital commitments with accuracy and timeliness.

Investor Portal & Data Management (InvestNext)

  • Maintain accurate investor records and documentation within the InvestNext platform.

  • Ensure correct entity mapping and secure storage of investor documents.

  • Track each investor’s position in the investment lifecycle and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.

Investor Experience & Relationship Management

  • Deliver a premium white-glove investor experience that reduces friction and encourages repeat investment.

  • Monitor onboarding timelines for each investor and offering to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with CPAs, fund administrators, and operations teams to ensure accurate investor records for tax reporting and compliance.

Requirements

Professional Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in investor relations, investor operations, financial services operations, or a related client-facing role.

  • Experience with private investments or real estate funds is highly preferred.

Technical & Systems Skills

  • Experience with InvestNext or similar investor management platforms, or the ability to quickly learn new systems.

  • Strong familiarity with task management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp.

  • Proficiency in Excel and data tracking tools.

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability for delivering excellent client outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for delivering a premium investor experience.
