DevOps Engineer (C#/.NET Focus)
Walter Remote
DevOps Engineer (C#/.NET Focus)

This role blends deep technical expertise with strong product thinking—engineers in this position are viewed as strategic product partners, not just builders. You’ll collaborate closely with Product teams and the Director of Engineering to rapidly prototype, test, and scale solutions that deliver real value to users. Senior Engineers are expected to bring curiosity, empathy, and a proactive mindset, using AI tools and modern engineering practices to build quickly, responsibly, and with high quality.

Stamped’s platform is built on a robust .NET/C# foundation, and this role is critical in both maintaining and modernizing these systems while contributing to the development of the next generation of architecture and services. This team is at the core of Stamped’s transformation into an AI-driven, iterative engineering culture—focusing on autonomy, accountability, and shared ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Stack Product Engineering – Design, build, test, and ship features with reliability and speed.

  • CI/CD Development – Architect and maintain efficient and scalable CI/CD pipelines.

  • Rapid Prototyping – Quickly develop and validate ideas before scaling.

  • AI-Augmented Development – Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity and code quality.

  • Technical Architecture & Judgment – Participate in system design discussions, contributing to platform modernization and scalability, especially within the .NET/C# ecosystem.

  • Ownership & Delivery – Execute roadmap priorities with a focus on quality, maintainability, and iteration.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Product teams and engineering leadership to align technical goals with business and user needs.

  • Knowledge Sharing – Document solutions, mentor teammates, and support a culture of continuous learning.

  • Continuous Innovation – Explore new tools, frameworks, and AI workflows to enhance developer velocity and system performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across multiple domains or tech stacks.

  • Advanced knowledge of at least one CI/CD platform and strong proficiency with a major cloud provider.

  • Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with experience improving production system performance, reliability, or maintainability.

  • Familiarity with modern languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, Python, Go, React, Node.js, or .NET Core.

  • Hands-on experience using AI or automation in development workflows.

  • Strong product mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, iteration, and user-focused design decisions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
