Qlik Replicate Specialist

UrbanSoft SA is hiring a Qlik Replicate Administrator to manage, optimize, and support its Qlik Replicate environment. The role is for someone with hands-on experience in data replication who can keep data moving accurately between databases and platforms. You will work with database administrators, developers, and other IT teams, and you will troubleshoot replication issues as they come up.

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain Qlik Replicate software.
• Design and implement data replication strategies based on business requirements.
• Monitor and manage replication tasks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Identify and resolve performance issues in replication processes.
• Apply best practices to improve the efficiency of Qlik Replicate operations.
• Work with database administrators to keep database performance at an optimal level.
• Monitor replication processes, spot bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Work with support teams to resolve technical problems related to Qlik Replicate.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track the health of replication processes.
• Put security measures in place to protect sensitive data during replication.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Run regular audits to verify data integrity and security.
• Keep documentation of Qlik Replicate configurations and processes.
• Train and support end-users and other IT teams on Qlik Replicate functionality.
• Work with database administrators, developers, and other IT teams to integrate Qlik Replicate into the overall data architecture.
• Work with vendors to stay current on features, updates, and patches.
• Use Attunity Compose for data integration and management tasks.
• Design and implement data replication and synchronization solutions using Attunity Compose.

What they are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Qlik Replicate Administrator or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of data replication concepts and strategies.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills

• Qlik Replicate certification.
• Experience with other data integration tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Scripting skills, for example Python or PowerShell.
