Denodo Admin

UrbanSoft SA is hiring a Denodo Admin with Linux skills to install, configure, and maintain the Denodo Platform on Linux servers. This is a hands-on role for someone who has managed Denodo environments and wants to keep them running reliably and securely. The position is based in India, and you must reside in India and be able to work India business hours.

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain the Denodo Platform on Linux servers.
• Manage and monitor Denodo environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and implement data integration solutions using Denodo.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Denodo Platform and Linux systems.
• Work with data architects, developers, and business analysts to design and optimize data integration workflows.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide support and training to users and stakeholders on Denodo Platform usage.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

What they are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years minimum of experience administering the Denodo Platform.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems such as Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
• Strong understanding of data virtualization, data integration, and ETL processes.
• Experience with SQL and database management, for example Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Denodo certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with other data integration tools, for example Informatica or Talend.
