Altium Designer Specialist

micro1 is hiring Altium Designer Specialists as contractors to support a customer project. The work centers on completing and documenting real-world workflows inside Altium Designer, using hands-on PCB design experience to produce high-quality interaction data that supports the development of AI systems. This is a remote role open worldwide, and you will work independently.

What you will do

• Complete assigned workflows and tasks within Altium Designer using your practical PCB design experience.
• Work with Altium Designer features for schematic design, PCB layout, component placement, routing, and design validation.
• Create, edit, review, and validate PCB designs and schematics based on provided workflow instructions.
• Record your screen while completing assigned workflows and clearly demonstrate the steps you take.
• Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows.
• Document workflow steps and explain the Altium Designer tools, features, and design decisions you used.
• Review task outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines.
• Follow project instructions and quality standards while working independently in a remote environment.

What they are looking for

• Strong hands-on experience using Altium Designer in professional or project-based environments.
• Prior human data experience, such as data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or similar work.
• Current access to Altium Designer and the ability to use the application independently.
• Comfort recording and sharing your screen while completing Altium Designer workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to clearly explain technical workflows.
