As a Senior QA Testing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions. You will lead quality assurance initiatives, identify defects, and enhance testing processes to maintain superior application performance. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders, you will design comprehensive test strategies, create detailed test cases, and execute rigorous software testing. Additionally, you will mentor junior QA testers, fostering a culture of excellence, learning, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Test Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  
  
• Design and implement structured test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  
  
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software reliability.
  
  

Defect Management & Quality Assurance

• Track, log, and manage software defects using industry-standard tracking tools.
  
  
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure quick resolution.
  
  
• Ensure quality standards are met before product releases.

Automation & Performance Testing

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
  
  
• Utilize performance testing tools such as K6, JMeter, or LoadRunner to evaluate software scalability.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

• Identify areas for process enhancement and implement best practices for increased testing efficiency.
  
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and user experience.

Mentorship & Leadership

• Train and mentor junior QA testers, fostering a growth-oriented team culture.
  
  
• Promote a best-practice approach to software testing, ensuring high performance across the team.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate detailed test reports, quality metrics, and defect analysis reports.
  
  
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvements in the QA lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  
  

Technical Skills & Tools

• Extensive experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
  
  
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Mocha, or TestNG.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools like K6, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
  
  
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory)

• ISTQB, CSTE, or any recognized QA certification is a plus.
