We are looking for a motivated and experienced Frontend Engineering Manager with expertise in Next.js to lead our frontend development efforts. You will oversee the architecture and delivery of high-performance web applications while managing a talented team of frontend developers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead Frontend Development: Manage and mentor a team of frontend developers to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop Scalable Applications: Design and build robust Next.js applications optimized for performance and user experience.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in frontend development, including 2+ years in a managerial role and 3+ years working with Next.js.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with Redux, Webpack, Babel, and other modern tools.
• Backend Awareness: Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and server-side rendering (SSR).
• Design Principles: Strong grasp of responsive design and building applications for various devices.
• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and resolve challenges.
• Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
• SEO & Performance: Knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards, and web optimization techniques.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git for collaborative development.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD Experience: Knowledge of pipelines and tools for continuous integration and delivery.
• Cloud Deployment: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, and deploying Next.js applications.
• UI/UX Collaboration: An eye for design and a knack for working with UI/UX teams.
• Open Source Contributions: Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
