Companies like Ahrefs use Localize to translate their websites, NYU Langone Health translates urgent care scheduling pages, and the University of Nebraska at Kearney translates international admissions pages. Try our product in action by visiting any of these sites and switching the language using the website's language switcher. 

Localize works via a simple code snippet—similar to a Google Analytics script—that customers add to their website or web app. The snippet pulls content into the Localize dashboard, where teams manage translations. Localize automatically deploys translations to the production site, reducing development costs and accelerating time to market.  

About the Role 

Localize is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our fast-growing, remote-first SaaS company. You’ll be on the front lines of a scaling sales engine, helping global brands unlock value through better localization solutions. 

This is a high-impact role for a solution-oriented seller who thrives in both inbound and outbound sales, has strong technical fluency, and excels at cross-functional collaboration to execute strategic deals throughout the sales lifecycle.  

What You’ll Accomplish 

Sales Lifecycle Ownership 

  • Own the full sales cycle—from lead qualification and discovery to demo, negotiation, and close. Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and Solutions Engineers to tailor deal strategies.

  • Manage inbound interest and proactively build pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting and account-based strategies.

  • Navigate complex multi-stakeholder enterprise deals in the $40K–$100K+ ARR range.

  • Develop close plans, map stakeholder landscapes, and guide prospects through buying cycles while ensuring alignment across teams.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and deal progression in CRM, highlighting risks and updating leadership.


Solution-Led Consultative Selling
 

  • Lead deep discovery calls to uncover pain points, clarify goals, and align use cases with Localize’s strengths.

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers to deliver demos that clearly connect product capabilities to business outcomes.

  • Engage technical buyers fluently on HTML, JavaScript, and localization workflows, helping unblock implementation challenges.

  • Build and advocate business cases for change, including post-sale value realization metrics.

Collaboration, Feedback & Learning
 

  • Provide structured feedback to Marketing, Product, and CS on use cases, objections, win/loss themes, and roadmap blockers.

  • Capture and document insights in CRM: call notes, next steps, stakeholder maps, and success criteria.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance customer experience and influence strategic direction.

  • Contribute to refining the sales playbook, positioning, and team culture as Localize scales.

Skills & Qualifications
 

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally closing technical solutions in the $40K–$100K+ ARR range

  • Proven ability to manage inbound leads and self-generate outbound pipeline

  • Experience selling to technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives

  • Exceptional collaborator with Sales Leadership and Solutions Engineers to execute winning deal strategies

  • Strong consultative selling, discovery, and value-based negotiation skills

  • Prior experience in fully remote roles (4+ years preferred); highly self-directed

  • High technical fluency; comfortable discussing JavaScript, HTML, and implementation with engineers

  • Strong discovery and listening skills to uncover root pains and co-create outcomes

  • Strategic thinker able to map multi-step buying journeys and anticipate objections

  • Clear, persuasive communicator with excellent follow-through

  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in documentation, project follow-ups, and customer interactions

  • Resilient, curious, collaborative, and driven by growth for both self and company
