Role Overview 

We are seeking an innovative, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on data validation rather than surface-level UI checks. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the data-driven engines behind Life Insurance and Annuity platforms—ensuring the logic, calculations, and configurations function accurately and reliably. 

You will leverage modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor and Claude) to streamline test creation and optimization, while utilizing frameworks like Playwright to validate complex workflows and configurations across systems. 

Key Responsibilities 

Data-Focused Testing 

• Design and maintain sophisticated data sets to validate insurance rating engines and calculation logic.
  
  
• Develop a strong understanding of data pipelines, data governance, and the impact of configuration changes on system outputs.
  
  

AI-Enhanced Automation
 

• Utilize AI-powered coding tools to accelerate the development, refinement, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
  
  

Test Engineering
 

• Build, execute, and maintain automated test suites primarily using Playwright.
  
  
• Contribute to the evolution of the testing framework, including potential expansion to Selenium-based solutions.
  
  

Test Management
 

• Plan, organize, and monitor test cycles using Zephyr within the Atlassian/Jira environment.
  
  

Analytical Problem Solving
 

• Break down business requirements to understand underlying system behavior and logic.
  
  
• Design proactive test scenarios that identify potential defects and system vulnerabilities before they reach end users.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile
 
Industry Experience
 

• Prior experience with Life Insurance or Annuity systems is strongly preferred.
  
  

Technical Expertise
 

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Zephyr.
  
  
• Familiarity with Selenium is considered a valuable advantage.
  
  

AI-First Mindset
 

• Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to improve coding efficiency and problem-solving workflows.
  
  

Data Proficiency
