  • MG-ALFA experience.
  • Past experience managing or guiding junior actuaries.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences, with a proven ability to communicate with senior leadership.
  • Highly skilled with spreadsheets and actuarial modeling software.
  • Advanced knowledge of actuarial concepts and assumptions used for modeling, risk management, pricing, and/or financial reporting.
  • Experience with automation and process improvement.
  • Ability to solve complex actuarial problems independently in a multi-dimensional context.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while adapting to and supporting change.
  • Significant knowledge of insurance products and the industry.
  • Deep understanding of insurance GAAP and Statutory accounting concepts and of company financials, including income statements, balance sheets, investment portfolio, and policyholder reserves.
  • Experience with a variety of company, industry, and regulatory actuarial issues.
  • Commitment to professional development.
  • High school diploma required.
