National Debt Relief is looking for an experienced and data-driven Senior Paid Search Strategist to take full ownership of our paid search programs across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. This is a remote, full-time position designed for someone who thrives in high-impact roles and has a passion for performance marketing, lead generation, and optimization at scale.
This hands-on role requires deep expertise in managing direct-response paid search campaigns, especially in industries with long offline sales cycles and high ad spend. The right candidate will combine tactical execution with strategic planning to scale campaigns effectively and collaborate across multiple internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Search Channel Management
- Lead and optimize large-scale Google and Bing ad campaigns
- Implement advanced tracking solutions including offline conversion tracking
- Experiment with bidding strategies using online and offline event data
- Ensure campaign performance meets ROAS and CPA goals
- Use Google Ads scripts, ad customizers, and business data feeds
- Apply attribution modeling, analyze path lengths, and manage cross-channel conversions
- Conduct deep query analysis for better targeting and performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with CRO, website, and sales teams to align campaign goals
- Partner with creatives to develop high-performing direct-response ad copy
- Collaborate on landing page optimization and A/B testing
- Share performance insights and roadmaps with stakeholders
Competitive Research & Strategic Development
- Perform ongoing competitive analysis to inform bid and messaging strategies
- Monitor auction insights and adapt campaigns to changing dynamics
- Stay ahead of the market through innovative campaign tactics
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze campaign performance using first-party and platform data
- Translate findings into actionable testing and optimization plans
- Present performance outcomes and strategy to senior leadership
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of paid search experience with direct-response and lead-gen focus
- Proven success managing $1MM+/month in media spend
- Experience with attribution modeling, landing page testing, and creative collaboration
- Prior work in both in-house and agency environments preferred

Compensation
- Salary Range: $103,000 to $115,500 (based on experience, skills, and location)
- Compliant with all applicable pay transparency laws including NYC
