Groove, a top-rated help desk software company, is looking for a Content Writer to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the VP of Content, you will be responsible for creating SEO-optimized blog posts that engage readers and drive trial signups and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write 2-3 blog posts per week that are engaging and action-driven.
  
  
• Capture and edit screenshots as needed for blog posts.
  
  
• Ensure content is optimized for SEO to improve search rankings.
  
  
• Conduct competitive research and position Groove’s features and benefits effectively.
  
  
• Monitor search rankings and update existing content to enhance performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional writing experience (in-house or freelance).
  
  
• Ability to write persuasive and conversion-focused content, not just traffic-driven posts.
  
  
• Basic image editing skills (screenshots, resizing, and cropping images).
  
  
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research and search intent.
  
  
• Ability to optimize existing content for better rankings.
  
  
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  
  
• Experience working in a freelance or remote setting.
  
  
• Bonus: Background in customer service.
