Groove, a leading help desk software company, is seeking a talented Content Writer to become part of our small but dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Content, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-driven blog posts that drive traffic and convert visitors into loyal customers.

What You’ll Do

• Write 2-3 engaging and action-oriented blog posts weekly, designed to generate leads and signups.
• Research competitors to craft content that effectively highlights Groove’s unique features and benefits.
• Optimize all content for search engine visibility, ensuring target keywords are effectively utilized.
• Regularly update existing blog posts to improve rankings and maintain relevance.
• Capture and edit screenshots to enhance blog posts with visual elements.

What We’re Looking For

• Content Writing Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of professional writing experience, either in-house or freelance.
• SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with researching keywords, understanding search intent, and optimizing content for rankings without overstuffing keywords.
• Conversion-Focused Writing: Ability to craft persuasive content that not only attracts readers but converts them into users.
• Basic Image Editing Skills: Comfortable taking screenshots and editing images to complement your articles.
• Time Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
• Remote Work Experience: Previous freelance or remote work experience is preferred.

Bonus: A background in customer service is a plus!
