The Opportunity

As a Billing Account Manager you will own the end‑to‑end billing relationship for a portfolio of healthcare facilities. Your mission is to deliver flawless invoicing, resolve billing disputes, and secure timely payments so our partners can focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring invoices are accurate and paid on schedule

  • Place high‑volume outbound calls and emails to facilities with past‑due balances

  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment remittance issues

  • Educate customers on Clipboard Health’s billing policies, tools, and timelines

  • Surface recurring pain points and partner with product and engineering to improve processes

  • Participate in new billing pilots or system rollouts and share learnings with the wider team

What Success Looks Like

  • You accept complete ownership for billing outcomes and proactively remove roadblocks

  • You dig into the root cause of every dispute, not just the symptoms

  • You devise creative, resource‑efficient ways to accelerate collections

  • You remain calm and decisive in a fast‑changing environment

Qualifications

  • Background in account management, collections, or billing operations (healthcare a plus)

  • Clear, courteous communication skills—both written and spoken

  • Comfortable working US business hours from your home location

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Experience using modern CRM or billing platforms preferred
