This role offers an opportunity to develop, optimize, and scale our video content strategy while collaborating with a global remote-first team. 

🎬 What You'll Do: 

• Develop compelling video storylines that align with Canonical’s brand identity and marketing goals. 
• Create and edit engaging video content for social media (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). 
• Enhance brand awareness and audience engagement through innovative video formats. 
• Optimize video content for SEO and social media best practices. 
• Experiment with new content ideas, tracking performance with analytics. 
• Research and implement tools & automation to streamline video content production. 
• Support video & photo shoots, contributing to storyboards and scripts. 

💡 Ideal Candidate: 

• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and social media expertise. 
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.). 
• Deep understanding of social media platforms & trends (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter). 
• Experience with web analytics & SEO for video content (Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.). 
• Passion for technology, branding, and storytelling through video. 
• Exceptional communication & collaboration skills in a remote environment. 
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus. 
• Ability to travel up to 4 times a year for company events.
