Role Overview 

ZayZoon is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Product Design to lead and grow its design team while actively contributing to the development of intuitive and human-centered product experiences. This role combines design leadership with hands-on design work, ensuring the company delivers accessible and user-friendly financial tools that help employees manage their earnings with confidence. 

You will work closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Data, and Product Marketing to manage the entire design process—from discovery and user research to final interface design—while building scalable systems that support efficient collaboration and product innovation. 

Key Responsibilities 

The Senior Manager of Product Design will lead and mentor the product design team, ensuring consistent design quality across multiple product areas. You will foster a collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages creativity, experimentation, and professional growth. 

The role involves contributing directly to product development by designing and refining user experiences. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to create products that improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and usability. 

You will oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle, including research, concept development, prototyping, testing, and final UI implementation. Additionally, you will help establish scalable design systems, workflows, and documentation to improve efficiency and maintain consistency across the company’s products. 

Required Qualifications 

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in UX or product design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role. Experience designing for web and mobile products is essential. 

Applicants should be comfortable working with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Fullstory, and Miro, or similar platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required, along with experience conducting user research and usability testing. 

Experience working in agile product development environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams is also important.
