The Opportunity 

• Design and build scalable web applications that support a rapidly growing user base
  
  
• Architect efficient, elegant solutions that deliver measurable value to customers
  
  
• Take full ownership of the engineering stack required to deliver features end to end
  
  
• Collaborate within a close-knit engineering team using Agile methodologies
  
  
• Establish and promote strong engineering standards and best practices
  
  
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
  
  
• Lead and manage an offshore engineering team of 3–8 members
  
  

Required Experience & Competencies
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  
  
• 4+ years of experience building large-scale web applications
  
  
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
  
  
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, including schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  
  
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services
  
  
• Experience working in Agile development environments
  
  
• Experience collaborating with distributed or remote teams
  
  
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and full-stack development
  
  
• Strong knowledge of MVC, LINQ, multithreading, IoC containers, and enterprise application design
  
  
• Experience building secure, web-based solutions using .NET MVC, Azure services, Azure SQL PaaS, and SharePoint Framework
  
  
• In-depth understanding of application security, HIPAA compliance, and secure SDLC practices
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CI tools (TeamCity, Jenkins), and version control systems (Git, GitHub) preferred
  
  
• Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
  
  
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning
  
  
• Ability to contribute effectively within a driven, high-performance team

The base salary range for this position is $102,290–$130,420, excluding bonuses and fringe benefits. This role is also eligible for participation in Vituity’s annual Success Sharing bonus program, based on company performance. Final compensation is determined by skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.
