After spending countless hours browsing multiple websites to find the best policies, the founders realized there needed to be a faster and more efficient solution. 

To solve this problem, they created The Swiftest, a platform that allows users to compare insurance options quickly in one place. Using the proprietary SwiftScore system, the platform provides unbiased insights to help consumers choose the best policies at the most competitive prices. Privacy is a core value for the company—user information is never sold or shared. 

Today, The Swiftest operates multiple comparison websites across niches including pet, travel, lifestyle, home, car, and insurance, and continues to expand its content and editorial operations.  

The company is looking for an experienced Managing Editor to oversee and scale content operations across its comparison platforms. The role focuses on improving existing content, managing editorial workflows, and supporting the growth of the editorial calendar. 

The ideal candidate will also coordinate with writers and developers while maintaining high editorial standards across all websites.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage and expand the editorial calendar across multiple websites.
  
  
• Edit, improve, and update existing website content.
  
  
• Oversee the content creation process and maintain high editorial quality.
  
  
• Coordinate with a team of writers and developers when needed.
  
  
• Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and consistency across platforms.
  
  
• Support the continuous improvement and scaling of editorial operations.
  
  

Requirements
 

• Excellent writing and editing skills (top priority).
  
  
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  
  
• Experience with Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  
  
• Ability to manage and coordinate team members.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment.
  
  
• Experience managing WordPress websites is preferred.
  
  
• Knowledge of niches such as insurance, travel, lifestyle, or pet services is a plus.
  
  

Compensation & Work Setup
 

• Starting Salary: $75,000 per year, with potential growth as the company expands.
  
  
• Work Setup: Fully remote.
  
  
• Schedule: 5 days per week with availability for several hours during Pacific Time afternoons.
  
  
• Start Date: Immediate start preferred.
