Join Us as a Backend Developer 

We are looking for a skilled backend developer to help build and scale Pulse Hub, Pulse Mobile App, and real-time integrations with our wearable device, Pulse One. Your work will ensure secure, efficient, and high-speed data flow between hardware devices, cloud infrastructure, and the Pulse ecosystem. 

You will also play a key role in designing and maintaining a centralized data lake that unifies insights from health tracking, eCommerce, and analytics platforms, allowing us to make data-driven decisions that shape the future of health tech. 

Your Impact 

• Develop and scale the Pulse Hub and mobile app backend, ensuring seamless tracking of health data, user rewards, and engagement.
• Build and optimize high-performance systems that handle real-time health and fitness data with minimal latency.
• Design and maintain a centralized data lake, integrating data from Shopify, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Stripe, and other sources.
• Collaborate with mobile and frontend teams to create efficient APIs for a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code with a focus on security and performance.
• Choose the best tools and frameworks to build a strong foundation for our data infrastructure.

What You Bring
 

• Five or more years of experience in backend development, with expertise in scalable, real-time systems.
• Deep understanding of real-time data processing, streaming, and cloud synchronization.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Bluetooth data protocols, IoT integrations, or device data pipelines is a plus.
• Ability to write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code.
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Interest in health, fitness, and wearable technology is a bonus.
