Role Overview:

You will be responsible for creating an exceptional checkout experience, transforming how merchants manage payments and how customers make online purchases. This includes:

• Designing and implementing fully tested, optimized libraries.
• Developing comprehensive documentation for both merchants and internal teams.
• Collaborating with users to gather feedback and enhance our products and services with each update.
• Making strategic decisions on technology to ensure scalability and reach.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members as the team expands.
• Collaborating closely with a cross-functional team, including front-end and back-end engineers, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is practical and adaptable, utilizing the best tools to enhance our product. The ideal candidate will have:

• Senior or lead-level experience in a previous position.
• Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and documenting developer libraries.
• Relevant experience with iOS; experience with React Native is a plus.
• A passion for creating maintainable, performant, well-tested, and resilient code.
• An appreciation for the developer experience we aim to deliver.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
• A curiosity and eagerness to learn!

Experience in JavaScript UI optimization, accessibility best practices, and online payments/APMs would be advantageous.
