As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll manage accounting systems, ensure compliance with local laws, optimize business processes, and provide valuable insights to support executive decisions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this position, you’ll take on key responsibilities across various aspects of financial management and business optimization:

Accounting and Compliance

You’ll ensure the accuracy of financial reports while maintaining compliance with local and international tax regulations. Tasks include:

• Preparing financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Managing regulatory and tax filings for Switzerland, Germany, and UAE entities.
• Supporting audits and liaising with financial authorities.
• Overseeing payments, accounts receivable, and payable processes.

Business Control and Efficiency

Your analytical skills will drive financial efficiency by identifying opportunities for cost reduction and better cash flow management. Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing profitability by customer and product.
• Tracking and optimizing cash flow.
• Providing management reports to guide decision-making.

Systems and Workflow Development

You’ll design and enhance accounting workflows tailored to meet jurisdictional requirements:

• Implementing structured accounting and compliance systems.
• Streamlining cross-departmental financial workflows.
• Coordinating between internal and external accounting teams.

Advisory and Collaboration

You’ll act as the financial point of contact, ensuring smooth communication across time zones and cultures:

• Partnering with teams to provide financial insights.
• Engaging with clients, authorities, and stakeholders professionally.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role (5+ years preferred).
• Expertise in IFRS, compliance laws, and European VAT systems.
• Proficiency in accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Fluency in English; fluency in German and Arabic is a plus.

You should also be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
