Senior Data Scientist (Agentic Solutions)

Netomi is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its Agentic Solutions team in India. The role centers on designing, building, and delivering AI-powered agentic solutions, working where data science, generative AI, product innovation, and client delivery meet. It suits someone who is hands-on and delivery-oriented, and who wants to apply machine learning, large language models, and agentic AI frameworks to real business problems.

You would work with product, engineering, solutions, and customer-facing teams to turn complex business problems into practical, scalable AI solutions. The job calls for both technical depth and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, and deliver AI and agentic solutions for internal and client-facing use cases.
• Apply data science, machine learning, and generative AI techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Partner with product, engineering, and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Evaluate model performance, solution quality, and business impact using data-driven methods.
• Support experimentation, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready implementations.
• Communicate insights, recommendations, and technical approaches clearly to stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI agents, LLMs, automation, and applied data science.

• Strong experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or applied AI.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, data analysis, and model development workflows.
• Familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience working on client-facing, delivery-focused, or product-oriented technical initiatives.
• Ability to move from ambiguous problem statements to practical, implemented solutions.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
