16Personalities is looking for an experienced Laravel developer with Vue 3 knowledge to help modernize and expand a platform that has impacted hundreds of millions of users. This is a fully remote, long-term opportunity with flexible hours. 

What You’ll Do 
Improve Testing & Modernize Code 

• Increase test coverage (currently using PHPUnit, open to alternatives). 
• Refactor older Laravel code to align with modern best practices. 
• Integrate robust testing into deployment pipelines. 

Build New Features 

• Develop new functionality while maintaining clean, maintainable code. 
• Optimize database queries and caching strategies. 
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth feature rollouts. 

Full-Stack Flexibility (When Needed) 

• Primary focus: Laravel backend. 
• Occasionally debug or align data in Vue 3 frontend. 

Leverage AI Tools 

• Explore how AI can enhance development and testing. 
• Assist in AI-driven mini-projects like model querying and output processing.

Who You Are 

Experienced Laravel Developer 

• 5+ years of Laravel experience with clean, performant coding skills. 
• Familiar with the latest Laravel versions and modern best practices. 

Vue 3 Knowledge 

• Comfortable navigating and debugging Vue 2/3 components (no design work required).

Independent & Reliable 

• Fully remote role requires self-management and clear communication. 
• Deliver tasks on time without constant follow-ups.
