To drive our continued growth and innovation, we are expanding our tech team and seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer. This role is instrumental in scaling MDCalc’s technology and ensuring we deliver high-performance solutions to support clinicians in treating hundreds of millions of patients.

Your Role & Impact

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will:
✔ Lead the development of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
✔ Take full ownership of projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
✔ Contribute to architectural and design decisions to enhance system performance.
✔ Champion best practices in software development, including testing, documentation, and code quality.
✔ Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

What You Bring

🔹 Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

🔹 Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in React, React Native, Next.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing scalable web applications and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, along with Terraform, Go, Docker, and BitBucket.
• Experience working on consumer/public websites and mobile applications.

🔹 Soft Skills & Domain Knowledge:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and refine product specifications.
• Bonus: Experience in health tech or knowledge of the healthcare industry.
