Level is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to become the second UI developer on the team. The product surface area is large and technically complex, requiring a strong builder who can take ownership and move quickly. 

You will work on real-time systems, peer-to-peer device control, automation tools, and new AI-driven features — shaping interfaces from concept to production. 

This role is ideal for an experienced frontend engineer who thrives in high-ownership environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.  

What You’ll Work On 

• Real-Time Systems: Build interfaces that surface live data across distributed device networks
  
  
• WebRTC Remote Control: Develop low-latency peer-to-peer device management tools
  
  
• Automation Engine: Create intuitive UI for complex multi-step IT workflows
  
  
• AI Virtual Technician: Help design and launch AI-powered features
  
  
• Core Product UI: Dashboards, data visualization, forms, and real-time updates
  
  

This is not a simple CRUD application — the challenges involve distributed systems, real-time data handling, and complex interface design.
 
 Required Skills & Experience
 

• Senior-level JavaScript expertise
  
  
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
  
  
• Experience working with GraphQL
  
  
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture and performance
  
  
• Experience with real-time systems or WebRTC (preferred)
  
  
• Strong async communication skills
  
  
• Comfortable using AI development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude) effectively
