Role Overview – Site Reliability Engineer 

As an SRE at Kodify, you’ll help evolve and secure our large-scale platform that handles millions of daily users. You’ll improve system reliability, performance, and observability while working closely with development teams to optimize Node.js-based services and infrastructure.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available systems
  
  
• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
  
  
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks
  
  
• Optimize Node.js application performance & resource usage
  
  
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines
  
  
• Collaborate with developers to embed reliability into product development
  
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations
  
  
• Advocate best practices for security, scalability, and performance
  
  

Minimum Qualifications
 

• Strong experience with Node.js development
  
  
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
  
  
• Good understanding of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and distributed systems
  
  
• Experience using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
  
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  
  

Preferred Skills
 

• Scripting: Bash / Python
  
  
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
  
  
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
  
  
• Familiarity with incident response/on-call management
  
  
• Understanding of security best practices
