About the Role:

As an EMS Research Intern, you will work closely with the research team to conduct meaningful studies related to prehospital and emergency medical services. You will help identify research topics, analyze healthcare data, and contribute to developing research abstracts for national conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Collaborate with the research team to select and study relevant topics 
•  Conduct literature reviews and analyze EMS data using STATA 
•  Prepare scientific research abstracts for conference submissions 
•  Participate in research related to public health and patient care 
•  Receive feedback to improve data analysis and writing skills 
•  Support additional research-related tasks as needed 

Requirements:

•  Currently enrolled in a graduate program (public health, epidemiology, or related field) 
•  Experience with STATA software 
•  Basic understanding of EMS/NEMSIS data 
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
•  Good communication and teamwork abilities 
•  Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
