IFTTT is looking for a Community & Support Specialist to support and engage its growing user base. This remote role combines community management and technical user support, helping customers build and troubleshoot automation workflows (Applets) while maintaining active engagement in online communities. You will work closely with product and support teams to improve the overall user experience.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)

Key Responsibilities

Community Management (50%)

  • Engage with users on platforms such as Reddit, Discord, and App Store reviews

  • Respond to questions, feedback, and discussions to maintain a positive community environment

  • Help users discover new ways to use IFTTT Pro features

  • Support campaigns and initiatives aimed at growing community engagement

  • Identify common community feedback to improve product features and content

Customer Support (50%)

  • Manage and respond to customer support tickets

  • Help users create and troubleshoot automation Applets

  • Write and improve help center articles and documentation

  • Investigate technical issues and collaborate with the product team on improvements

  • Serve as an internal expert on IFTTT features and workflows

Requirements

  • Experience managing online communities for SaaS or software products

  • Experience writing or editing help center or knowledge base content

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills

  • Passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving

  • Experience with community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, or forums

  • Familiarity with APIs and authentication systems (OAuth 2)

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript

  • Experience using CRM or support tools such as Zendesk

  • Experience working in a remote environment

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay: $18 – $29 USD depending on experience, skills, and location
