The Role: 

We’re seeking an outstanding Managing Editor with excellent organizational skills to oversee content production operations using GrowthX Pipelines. You’ll manage content end-to-end, refine workflows, and ensure every deliverable meets our high-quality standards before delivery. 

You’ll work closely with Directors and Account Strategists who define client priorities, executing flawlessly to deliver client-ready content on schedule. 

Editorial judgment is key. While you’ll leverage advanced AI workflows to generate content, your real value lies in editing, refining, and polishing outputs to exceptional quality. 

You’ll also help improve our AI systems—shaping workflows, providing feedback, and iterating to approach near-perfect outputs, reducing effort for yourself and the team. 

This is a full-time role requiring availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST.  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Translate strategic assignments into detailed AI-ready briefs, including research, angles, keywords, and CTAs, minimizing post-production edits.

  • Manage content production through AI pipelines from research to final publishing.

  • Maintain high-quality standards: ensure accuracy, brand voice, and readiness before content reaches clients.

  • Analyze content performance, identify patterns, and recommend optimizations for better results.

  • Refine AI workflows to improve output quality, documenting processes that consistently work.

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive content tasks to increase efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Account Strategists to implement workflows tailored to client needs.

  • Strong editorial judgment and taste: know what works for audiences and maintain a high-quality bar.

  • Outcome-oriented mindset: focus on content that drives real results, not just perfect outputs.

  • Speed with quality: manage time effectively, batch similar tasks, and prioritize impactful details.

  • Deep understanding of AI: know prompts, context, artifacts, and how to improve AI outputs.

  • Systems thinker: improve processes, identify patterns, and create repeatable, scalable workflows.

  • Attention to detail: ensure accuracy and brand consistency while being pragmatic about priorities.

  • SEO expertise: hands-on experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA, and Search Console.

  • Analytical problem-solving: identify process inefficiencies, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions.

Nice to Have:
 

  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and content publishing.

  • Background in content operations or editorial workflow management.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Linear, ClickUp).
