About the Role
We are searching for a Managing Editor who is passionate about exceptional content and views AI as a tool to enhance creativity. At GrowthX, you’ll work with prominent clients like Reddit and Ramp, using AI to revolutionize content creation while maintaining quality.

This fully remote position requires at least four hours of overlap with the US West Coast.

Your Role
As Managing Editor, you’ll manage client accounts and develop content strategies that resonate with their audience and drive measurable results. Acting as an extension of the client’s team, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, and automation experts to deliver outstanding content solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Content Strategy: Design and implement content strategies tailored to client goals, performing in-depth research to align with audience interests.
• Content Creation: Use AI tools and hands-on expertise to craft and edit high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, and SEO-driven content.
• Client Collaboration: Engage regularly with clients to understand their needs and provide actionable solutions.
• Project Management: Oversee content programs, manage timelines, coordinate internal teams, and ensure deliverables are met.
• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, leveraging tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush to improve rankings and organic growth.
• Team Collaboration: Work with research specialists, strategists, freelancers, and automation experts to achieve shared objectives.

What We’re Looking For

• Content Expertise: Proven track record of creating impactful content strategies and executing them successfully.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with clients and teams.
• SEO Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of technical and on-page SEO, with experience using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
• AI Enthusiasm: Willingness to embrace and leverage AI tools in content creation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Photoshop.
• Experience in prompt engineering and AI-driven content solutions.
• Background in managing freelance writers and external contributors.
