Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer

George Jon is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer to run secure, highly available eDiscovery platforms, servers, and networks. The role covers installing, maintaining, upgrading, and improving client operating environments, plus keeping infrastructure reliable and supported as it grows. It is fully remote, with some travel possible depending on client needs, and George Jon is hiring only in the USA, Poland, and India.

The work includes responsibility for upgrade activities on eDiscovery applications. George Jon wants someone who communicates well, collaborates with a team, and can also work independently. Analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills matter here, along with keeping current on the software and hardware being supported.

What you will do

• Implement and support eDiscovery applications and the infrastructure behind them
• Support eDiscovery software, triaging and routing calls to the right people
• Assist Application Support Engineers with application issues using root cause analysis
• Make sure client environments meet System Requirements as set out in George Jon best practices
• Maintain client environments across George Jon's global footprint
• Build in-depth knowledge of George Jon's offerings and how they relate to customer needs
• Assist team members and provide escalation support
• Create and edit documentation of internal processes and procedures
• Keep customers informed of incident progress and notify them of impending changes or agreed outages
• Enter all work as service tickets into ConnectWise and manage and log all time and expenses

• Intermediate knowledge of Relativity, NUIX, and LAW software platforms
• Windows Server 2012 and above administration
• Scripting and automation
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft IIS
• Microsoft Clustering
• Firewall administration (SonicWALL preferred)
• Advanced networking
• Virtualization administration (VMware preferred)
• Storage (SAN, NAS, DAS)
• Cisco routing and switching; Force10 a plus
• Dell hardware and software experience
• Ticket management, issue tracking, and change log management
• Understanding of the EDRM Framework
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team and while working independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment and handle multiple projects and issues at once

Nice to have

• Relativity Infrastructure Specialist or Relativity Certified Administrator
• Ability to travel internationally
