Role Overview

Filestage is hiring a Customer Success Team Lead (German Speaking) to drive the evolution of its Customer Success function. This is a leadership role where you will define and build a scalable Customer Success strategy, ensuring strong customer adoption, retention, and long-term value.

You will act as a player-coach, managing your own portfolio of high-value accounts while also setting standards, processes, and frameworks for the entire Customer Success team.

Key Responsibilities

You will design and optimize the Customer Success operating model, including onboarding, enablement, and health score systems. The role involves ensuring a smooth collaboration between Customer Success and Account Management teams, defining clear ownership across the customer lifecycle. You will standardize value delivery through structured processes such as QBRs and onboarding improvements, while also proactively identifying churn risks and implementing retention strategies. Additionally, you will lead team performance through regular reviews, coaching sessions, and data-driven decision-making, while acting as the voice of the customer by sharing insights with the product team.

Requirements

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success with a proven track record in retention, revenue growth, and account management. Strong understanding of metrics like GRR, NRR, and customer lifecycle management is essential. You should have leadership experience or be ready to step into a leadership role, with the ability to build scalable processes and guide a team. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with prior remote work experience and the ability to work independently in a global environment.
