Role Overview

EventMobi is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for a fully remote role (with a focus on candidates in Pakistan, India, and Latin America). You will play a key role in shaping the frontend architecture of a large-scale event platform built with React and TypeScript.

This is not just a UI role—you will work on complex, high-performance web applications, focusing on scalability, offline capabilities, and cross-device experiences.

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop and enhance high-performance React/TypeScript applications
•  Build responsive, offline-capable Progressive Web Apps 
•  Own features end-to-end—from design to deployment 
•  Architect scalable frontend systems and improve legacy codebases 
•  Optimize performance, maintainability, and developer experience 
•  Mentor team members and uphold engineering best practices 
•  Leverage AI tools to streamline development and improve code quality 

Requirements

•  8+ years of experience building scalable web applications 
•  4+ years of expertise in React and TypeScript
•  Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns 
•  Experience working with large and complex codebases 
•  Proficiency in REST APIs, modern HTML/CSS, and testing frameworks 
•  Strong communication skills for async remote collaboration 
•  Mentorship mindset and leadership qualities 

Nice to Have

•  Experience with React Query or similar libraries 
•  Mobile development (React Native, Capacitor, Cordova) 
•  Familiarity with Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines 
•  Strong TypeScript typing and performance optimization skills
