Senior Growth Designer (Paid Social)

We’re hiring a highly adaptable, performance-driven Senior Growth Designer to join our Brand & Creative team, with a primary focus on paid social design. In this role, you’ll create high-impact creative that goes beyond aesthetics to deliver measurable performance across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging paid social channels.

You will bring our brand to life through scroll-stopping paid social ads designed for rapid testing, learning, and scaling. While paid social performance is the core focus, you’ll also contribute to adjacent growth touchpoints, including email campaigns, landing pages, affiliate assets, internal presentations, and more.

You’ll work closely with performance marketers, copywriters, and channel stakeholders to understand audience insights, performance goals, and testing strategies—then translate those insights into effective, high-converting creative. Your work will span rapid ad iteration and optimization as well as net-new concept development, with a strong emphasis on scaling winning creative across paid social while supporting broader growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in fast-paced, experimentation-led environments and understands the demands of performance marketing. You’re comfortable responding to real-time performance data, owning projects from concept to execution, and ensuring every asset is on-brand, clear, and strategically aligned across channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design a high volume of performance-oriented paid social assets, including static ads, motion graphics, and short-form video optimized for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Support creative needs across additional marketing channels, including email, landing pages, affiliate assets, presentations, digital ads, and brand materials

  • Contribute to growth-focused creative initiatives from concept through execution, helping define creative direction, pitching ideas aligned with business objectives, and iterating quickly based on performance insights

  • Collaborate closely with performance marketing partners to test, analyze, and evolve creative, applying learnings related to hooks, messaging, formats, audiences, and platform-specific best practices

  • Develop compelling visual narratives using typography, iconography, photography, animation, and infographics to capture attention and drive conversions, especially within paid social environments

  • Apply and evolve the Ethos brand across key touchpoints, ensuring consistency and quality across email, lifecycle, social, advertising, landing pages, and events

  • Support creative for new product launches and expanding product lines, creating assets that clearly communicate value, drive engagement, and align with go-to-market strategies

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5–8+ years of experience in growth, performance, or marketing design, with a portfolio showcasing strong paid social work, conceptual thinking, and conversion-focused outcomes

  • Extensive experience designing for paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, with a strong understanding of formats, trends, and performance optimization

  • Proven ability to create conversion-driven creative that balances craft, clarity, storytelling, and results

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with motion design or animation is a plus

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing funnels, audience segmentation, creative testing frameworks, and channel best practices

  • Ability to contribute across the full design lifecycle, from insights and ideation to execution, testing, and iteration

  • Excellent visual communication skills, with a strong sense of hierarchy, storytelling, and audience-first design

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively across teams

  • Experience working cross-functionally with growth, marketing, and product teams to align creative with business objectives

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving, feedback-driven environment with shifting priorities

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and open to feedback; collaborative and adaptable in an iterative workflow

  • Experience in DTC, fintech, or financial services is preferred, particularly for digital-first or non-physical products

Application Requirements

  • Resume

  • Design portfolio (paid social examples required)
