Confluent is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for its stream processing portfolio, including solutions built around Apache Flink. In this role, you will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, drive product adoption, and position Confluent’s data streaming technologies as essential tools for modern data-driven businesses. 

You will collaborate with teams across product management, sales, marketing, and customer success to create compelling messaging and deliver impactful marketing campaigns. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions for Confluent’s stream processing products
  
  
• Plan and execute product launch strategies and marketing campaigns
  
  
• Work with product teams to influence product roadmap decisions
  
  
• Identify target markets and growth opportunities across key industries
  
  
• Support sales teams with training materials and product insights
  
  
• Create marketing assets and thought leadership content
  
  
• Represent Confluent at industry events, webinars, and conferences
  
  
• Conduct market research and analyze competitors within the data streaming space
  
  

Requirements
 

• 8+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software companies
  
  
• Experience launching and managing go-to-market strategies for technical products
  
  
• Strong collaboration skills across product, sales, and marketing teams
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  
  
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  
  
• Strong project management and multitasking skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications
 

• Experience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Flink or Apache Kafka
  
  
• Understanding of modern data architectures, event-driven systems, and real-time analytics
  
  
• Familiarity with open-source technologies and data infrastructure platforms
